Her journey began in the dynamic retail sector with notable companies such as Safeway, Makro, and House of Fraser.

She later transitioned into the finance sector, taking on senior strategic roles leading change at Citigroup, The Funding Corporation, and Bank of America.

Her expertise was acknowledged through her fellowship with the CIPD and her attainment of an MSc in HR Management.

Coaching Philosophy: As a seasoned coach and mentor, Katy’s approach is centred on authenticity, a growth mindset, and actionable goals. She views every challenge as a growth opportunity and tailors her coaching to the unique journey of each individual, respecting their values and motivations utilising DiSC profiling.

Career Highlights: Katy’s passion for continuous learning led her to become a lecture and tutor for level 3,5 and 7 ILM, CMI, and CIPD qualifications during the last 12 years. More recently she was a key member of the ION (Dream) team at Bangor University as a Learning Development Manager, where she developed and delivered a successful leadership program, leading change. Currently, Katy is a consultant tutor for Reed Learning, supporting HR professionals globally in achieving their level 7 CIPD qualifications.

Personal Interests: Outside of her professional life, Katy finds rejuvenation in cold water swimming and outdoor activities. On weekends, she shares the exhilaration of the beach or nature walks with a community of like-minded individuals. As a mother, professional, and business owner, Katy’s life story is a testament to embracing challenges and fostering a positive confident attitude to achieving successful change.
